Hillsboro Soccer Club is embarking on our most ambitious project yet.

With Hillsboro growing at almost 20% every 10 years, we are preparing ourselves for this continued growth, by commencing the creation of a synthetic field with full lights.

This project is based out of the Evergreen Christian Center in Hillsboro, where we have been fortunate enough to source an incredible location for our new home.

This home will become a base for more than 2000 players every season to train and will help us grow our financial aid program, our scholarships, our MultiCultural league and so much more.

This field is the future of Hillsboro Soccer Club, and we welcome you to join us in becoming a part of our history.

HSC PLAYER PATHWAY

OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH GPS

Since 2015, Hillsboro Soccer Club has been a partner of Global Premier Soccer (GPS), one of the largest youth soccer organizations in the USA. We will establish an identity of excellence as we pursue our pathway to success on and off the field, with our primary focus being the development of players and people. We will develop players who can compete at the highest level of soccer around the world.

Recreational Soccer

The foundation for our success

Hillsboro Soccer Club is proud of it's very successful Recreation (Rec) soccer Program. It is not only the largest within the area, we have always been successful at transitioning players through the pathway and bringing them into the Competitive Programs.

Recreation soccer is the entry level of soccer that HSC offers. This level is available to players from Age 5 through 14. Rec Soccer is intended for players just entering soccer or those who simply enjoy the game and do not wish to participate in the more competitive Junior Premier, Junior Premier II and Premier programs.

Over the past 19 years, the MultiCultural League has grown to include 27 teams with over 600 players. The MultiCultural League has been very successful in involving a diverse group of students and their families from across the greater Portland area.

For a group made up entirely of so-called “minority” students (Latino, Asian, and Eastern European) an opportunity like this goes a long way in developing a sense of worth and pride in accomplishments earned through hard work.

This is an opportunity not provided elsewhere for these student athletes.

In the inaugural episode of the 12th Man podcast, we enjoy Coach Brian Heatherington discuss his introduction to soccer, his admiration of his high school coach, trips abroad in Denmark and his two competitive teams at the club. The 2007G and 2011B Head Coach holds no punches when self reflecting, leaving us with a honest assessment of his transition from player - parent - coach.
